Evening of April 12th or 13th
Doors Open at 5pm
The Modesto Sunrise Rotary Club is launching an extraordinary event that's all about inspiring and empowering our community, especially focusing on those who've served us like veterans and first responders.
Imagine an event where you not only get to listen to incredible stories of survival and courage but also participate in activities that push your limits, like breaking boards and walking over hot coals safely!
At the heart of this event are two amazing speakers: Dave Sanderson, who survived a plane crash landing on the Hudson River, showing us the power of staying calm under pressure, and Dave Albin, known for his work with Tony Robbins, teaching us how to overcome our fears through the Fire Walk.
This isn't just any talk. It's a hands-on experience where you'll learn to face and conquer your fears, proving to yourself that you're capable of more than you ever imagined.
Modesto Sunrise Rotary is setting the stage for a night of breakthroughs. By bringing together people from all walks of life, they aim to create a strong, supportive community ready to take on any challenge.
Whether you're looking to be inspired, find new ways to grow, or just experience something totally new, this event is where you want to be. Let's come together, break through our limits, and ignite a fire within!
Last Passenger Off The Plane...
Firewalking is an ancient ritual that has existed for thousands of years.
Practiced by different people around the world, it has roots in many different cultures.
The common thread that all firewalking rituals seem to share is that the firewalk itself demonstrates courage, faith and strength — the ability to stand up to one’s fears and take on whatever challenges life sends forth.
Dave’s passion for firewalking began in 1995 after attending his first Tony Robbins Seminar. Though he initially resisted the idea of walking on coals exceeding 1000 degrees in temperature, after a little last-minute encouragement, he found himself celebrating at the other end of the fire lane, with a crewmember affirming, “You did it, you did it, you do it!”
That was the exact life-changing moment that Dave’s love, passion, and fascination for firewalking was born.
